Ben Heathcote

I started my journey in music & sound through singing in a band with my brother as a teenager, following in the footsteps of our grandfather. This saw us perform across the UK playing in venues and festivals. Over time I realised I had a longing to pursue my passion for music academically and decided to study a BA in Popular and Commercial Music to which I graduated with a 1st Class Honours.

I combined my passion for music with my desire to teach and inspire others, achieving Qualified Teacher Status through the University of South Wales.

I hope that I can instill some of what I've learned as a musician and performer into others, helping to inspire them to forge their own pathway in the music industry to the best of their abilities.

My passion for sustainability and the planet was gifted to me by my mother. She raised my brother and I to be conscientious citizens, taking responsibility for our actions on the world around us. I have since been involved in sustainability seminars and professional development courses and this has driven me to want to make a positive difference, working toward a greener future for the industry.
